The Contest: In 2015, I co-founded Barrels for Boobs, an annual surf contest to benefit Florida breast cancer charities. Over the past 5 years, the contest has evolved from a simple idea into an epic success, raising over $20,000 for charity.
My Role: Sponsorship acquisition, insurance compliance, volunteer organization, staff hiring, budget development, music and entertainment booking, and local ordinance adherence. |
